Member of Parliament for Zomba Chingale in Eastern Region John Chikalimba is reported dead.
The Office of the Speaker has confirmed of the development in an a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
Hon. Chikalimba died today at Zomba Central Hospital where he was admitted.
In a related development, death has also been announced of Member of Parliament for Ntchisi North Jaqueline Chikuta.
Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
