Lowershire electoral case ruling adjourned to 3pm

The High Court in Blantyre has adjourned to 3 pm judgment in a case in which three Malawi Congress Party members in Chikwawa and Nsanje districts are challenging results of the May 21 parliamentary elections.

Initially, the judge was supposed to be made at 10 am but the court has judged to later this afternoon as judges are currently working in shifts due to the Covid19 situation.

In the cases; Enock Chizuzu is challenging Esther Mcheka Chilenje’s victory in Nsanje North Constituency, Kafandikhale Mandevana is challenging Francis Kasaira in Nsanje Central Constituency while Sam Khumbanyiwa is against Foster Thipiwa in Chikwawa Central Constituency.
