Deputy Minister of Lands Abida Sidik Mia has donated masks to Makande prison as she continues contributing to the fight against Covid-19.
Abida, wife to late Malawi Congress Party (MCP) first vice president Sidik Mia has geared fighting the pandemic ended the life of her husband.
Some few weeks ago, Abida also donated masks to Chichiri and Zomba Prisons.
The deputy Minister in conjunction with MCP also fed 400 Heath workers at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) with food rations, a move she described as “my husband could have loved to see if he was alive”.
The late Sidik Mia was a man of the people as he was best known for his philanthropist works helping the poor and marginalized.
