The High Court in Blantyre is this afternoon expected to continue hearing a case involving bodyguard to former President Peter Mutharika, Norman Chisale.
Chisale is accused of attempting to kill Sigele Amani in 2020 along the Living Waters-Chimwankhunda road.
Yesterday the state applied to for bail revocation accusing Chisale of interfering with witnesses in the case.
The defence lawyers asked for more time to go through the application before responding to the application.
The development forced the presiding Judge Sylvester Kalembera to adjourn the case to today (Wednesday) at 2pm.
So far the state has paraded five witnesses including the victim.
