Chakwera’s Aunt Dies

Death has been announced of Gogo Nazibet Chakwera, Aunt to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

Gogo Nazibet died this morning at her home, Chakwera Village at Malembo in Lilongwe District.

Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Zanga-zanga Chikhosi confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Chikhosi, Nazibet died at the age of 96.

Gogo Nazibet will be laid to rest on Saturday in Chakwera Village at Malembo in the district.
