Madam Monica Chakwera presides over first annual Africa Gender Equality Conference 2021

The country’s first lady Madam Monica Chakwera is this afternoon officially opening the first annual Africa Gender Equality Conference 2021.
Madam Chakwera has joined the Conference from Kamuzu Palace Via Zoom.
The First Lady is being joined by Gender Minister Patricia Kaliati and Ms Aurelie Valtat Charge D’Affaires, European Union Delegation to Malawi.
In the morning, President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera hosted President of Botswana, Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi where the two leaders discussed a number of issues aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
After the bilateral talks, the two leaders held a joint media briefing.
Meanwhile Masisi has left the country.
