Information reaching this publication indicates that Speaker of the National Assembly Catherine Gotani Hara has recovered from Coronavirus, a pandemic which has claimed lives of over 1000 Malawians.
Hara tested positive two weeks ago and she went to self isolation. This forced her to miss the mid-year budget review meeting currently underway in the capital Lilongwe.
According to information at hand, Gotani Hara went for the second test today and she tested negative.
This means that Hara will soon be returning to Parliament.
