By Lovemore Katanda

The Epscopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) has asked government to put in place the necessary measures that would help to address the different concerns and reactions that people might have concerning covid-19 vaccine.

In a letter released on Thursday, Match 11, 2021, titled ” Love does no wrong to a neighbor,” ECM has commended Malawi government in ensuring that vulnerable people have access to covid-19 vaccine.

” We urge government to put in place measures that would help to address the concerns people might have on covid-19 vaccine while at the same time continuing to put in place all necessary measures that would help to combat covid-19, treatment for those effected and protection of the entire population from further spread of the pandemic,” reads part of the statement.

The statement further says that it is morally appreciated to receive covid-19 vaccine that Malawi has received and the church has since urged all the Catholics and people of the Goodwill to access covid-19 vaccine.

President Lazarus Chakwera has today commissioned the first covid-19 vaccine roll out at a function that held at covid-19 field Hospital in Zomba.
