Man Axes Wife To Death For Falling Pregnant While He Was Away

In a horrific development, a jilted man from Chinamhora axed his wife to death for falling pregnant while he was away.

Masiyiwa Kasirori (39) reportedly fatally struck his wife Constance Katiyo with an axe several times on the head for refusing to disclose the name of the man who made her pregnant.

Kasirori from Ndoro Village appeared in court yesterday before Harare magistrate Dennis Mangosi charged with murder .

It is in the States case that on the 13th of March this year an altercation arose between Kasirori and Katiyo over Katiyo’s love child.

According to Court papers, while Kasirori was away on business Katiyo allegedly became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy.

Kasirori who could not fathom the thought of his wife giving birth to another man’s child  started assaulting his wife all over the body beckoning her to disclose the name of the man who impregnated her.

After assaulting her, Kasiori allegedly picked an axe and struck his wife several times, killing her instantly.

He was seen by their son holding the blood-stained axe and fleeing the crime scene, leaving his wife in a pool of blood.

A report was made at the police station leading to Kasirori’s arrest a few days later in Glendale.

According to state media, Kasirori was remanded in custody to April 1 after his bail application was denied.
