BRIDE TIES KNOT WITH DEAD GROOM BEFORE HIS BURIAL

KENYA – Just when you thought you had seen it all, Beatrice Mbayi walked down the aisle to tie the knot with William Godfrey Mukalama who lay lifeless in a brown casket.

“We are aware it is not your wish to have a wedding ceremony in this manner, but kindly accept this ring so that you and your wife will remain one,” the man presiding over the ceremony told the dead groom.

With the first activity of the day successfully completed, it was time to celebrate the marriage before it reverted back to a funeral and the late’s body was interred.
