At least seven people have been interviewed for position of Director General of the state funded broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).
Minister of Information Gospel Kazako confirmed of the development through his official Facebook page today.
According to the Radio personality cum politician, the interviews for the position were held yesterday.
He further added that the successful candidate for the position will be announced soon.
“Seven candidates attended interviews for the position of MBC Director General yesterday in Lilongwe. The successful candidate will be announced soon,” Kazako said.
Kazako has been saying that the selection of MBC Director General will be done based on melt.
The position fell vacant after the Aubrey Sumbuleta was showed the exiting door after he was found guilty by the MBC board on the charges that were leveled against him.
