DEDZA CIVIL SOCIETY DISSATISFACTION OVER SCHOOL CONSTRUCTING PROJECT

Dedza Civil Society Network has faulted Dedza district council for the delay to complete the construction of Maonde Maternity wing, Chimoto guardian shelter, masinje and Kabambe School blocks since 2015.

Chairperson for the Network Stainly Jefuta today Thursday said that Villagers are struggling to access health services easily.

‘’ Children are still traveling long distances to access education due to the delay,’’ said Jefuta.

Meanwhile spokesperson for Dedza District Council Mr Yohan Bilesi   has attributed the delay to the decision of starting several projects at once in the absence of adequate resources.

However Bilesi has assured the people of Dedza that the construction work will be completed.
