Nsanje business community has lashed out at the country’s power utility body Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi [ESCOM] for persistent intermittent power supply in the district.
Business people are saying the power cut is affecting their trading Centre.
These people have faulted ESCOM saying it has been switching off power for the whole day mainly on Mondays and Sundays.
ESCOM spokesperson Innocent Chitosi has dismissed the claims,saying that they don’t switch off power often.
