Man killed over goat meat at a drinking joint in Dowa

Police in Mponela , Dowa have arrested a 25- year- old man for allegedly killing a 35-year-old man over disagreements on loan repayment at a drinking joint.
Mponela Deputy Police spokesperson Macpatson Msadala has confirmed of the development.
According to Msadala, Dennis Diveliyasi reminded Kamkwamba Jaziyere to repay the money he owed after taking 1kg of goat meat at K2,000 but Jaziyere said he could not pay back the money because the debt is outdated since he took it last year.
This prompted Jaziyere to assault Diveliyasi until he was pronounced dead at Mponela rural hospital.
Diveliyasi hailed from Kadewere village TA Chakhaza in Dowa.
