25 year old man Francis Richard has been arrested in Lunzu for being found with a revolver (pistol) with seven live ammunitions.
According to reports, the police received a tip from the community Richard hails from saying that he is possessing a thing which seems like a toy gun.
Following the tip, police made follow ups and when the suspect was found he was searched only to be found with the gun in his pockets.
Meanwhile, the gun has been seized and the suspect is in police custody pending for further inquiries.
Richard hails from Hanjahanja village, Traditional Authority Nsamala in Balaka.
