Court reserves ruling on refugees, asylum seekers injunction

High Court Judge Ruth Chinangwa has reserved her ruling in a case in which government wants to vacate an injunction refugees and asylum seekers got, restraining it from relocating them back to Dzaleka Camp in Dowa.

Government, through the office of the Attorney General, today appeared in court in order to vacate the injunction.

The State, through its representative Nervous Chisiza, applied for grant of leave of the Injunction to commence judicial review.

Chinangwa adjourned the matter to May 26 for her ruling on the matter.
