Malawi is set to host the 41st Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit scheduled for August this year.
A release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation quotes Minister Eisenhower Mkaka that President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has approved the dates for the SADC Summit for 17th and 18th of August this year.
Mkaka is further quoted as explaining that currently, the Ministry is engaging stakeholders in its preparations under the banner of the SADC National Committee (SNC).
The SNC is also expected to come up with a theme for the 2021 SADC Summit.
