Chikumbutso Mtoloshi Chinkombero establishes music promo firm

As one way of promoting music industry in the country, Lilongwe-based music lover  Chikumbutso Mtoloshi Chinkombero has established music firm called Success Entertainment in Lilongwe.

Speaking in an interview, Chinkombero said the main intention to establish the firm is to promote the welfare of artists, more especially the youth, less privileged and the undermined talented ones.

” The main intention I have come up with this firm is to promote the welfare of our artists, more especially the  less privileged, youth and undermined talented ones so as to make their music known to the public and make profit”, said Chinkombero.

He said through the firm they have  achieved a number of things in line with the uplifting the less privileged artists where they have managed to sign a management deal with one of the renowned local music artists Thomas Chibade to unearth some upcoming artists such as Quessy, Galizy and Quazha.

” So far , we have managed to sign a management deal with Thomas Chibade so as to enable the upcoming artists to make their talents heard. The deal has already benefitted Quessy, Galizy and Gazha and we hope many are going to be prompted via the firm” explained Chinkombero.

Chinkombero promised that Success Entertainment has a lot to offer in the music industry and that music lovers should expect more from the firm.

” We have a lot to offer our fans and they should be ready to us bringing top notch artists both local and international. At the same time, they should expect us to balance up our stage with young and upcoming artists, because our intention is to create and environment where music industry has to be properly transitioned” He promises.

Chinkombero stressed that despite having intention to promote the music industry which they believe is vital for  social-economic growth of this country, they still face challenges but not tend to give  up. He sited  lack of corporate from companies as one of the challenges they are facing and said it’s now a high time that companies should understand and invest in music and create advertising platform out of it.

He further argued business tycoons to partner with them in promoting music industry and understand that music industry is another platform where they can do their business advertisements.

Opening its doors in 2019 and came into operation in 2021, Success Entertainment has worked with renowned musicians, Skeffa Chimoto, Lucius Banda, Janta, Macelba, Saint, Thomas Chibade and Atont Manje, Just to mention some but a few.
