Police, Immigration arrest 4 Cameroonians


Ndirande Police in collaboration with Immigration Department have arrested four Cameroonian nationals during a joint special operation targeting illegal immigrants.

The four, identified as Emile Negou-Ndejo, 37, Mithieu Ningou, 52, Fabric Harve-Ndomo Naah, 35, and Cyrille Tedjong Tene, 38, were arrested yesterday Monday.

The suspects were arrested at one Beverage Company where they were working without permits.

They are also suspected of overstaying in the country.

The four Cameroonians are expected to appear in court soon to answer charges of working without permit and overstaying in the country contrary to Section 21(1) as read with Section 37(d) of the Immigration Act.
