Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Mulanje Bale Member Parliament Victor Musowa has branded the current Tonse Alliance government cabinet as the best cabinet adding that it should not be changed.
Recently many Malawians have been on President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s neck demanding Cabinet reshuffle arguing that many Cabinet Ministers are not performing.
But Chakwera has remained adamant on the calls.
Speaking in Parliament, Musowa said the current ministers are resilient and capable Ministers and it is not on to have them out of office after 6 months.
Musowa alleged that there are some MPs who do not wish well the current ministers and are busy campaigning to be included in cabinet.
The remarks attracted ululations from the government side while booing from opposition benches.
Other MPs even went further by accusing Musowa of being a fortune seeker.
Meanwhile it is not yet known as to when Chakwera will be reshuffling his Cabinet.
