Former Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) IT officer Vikula Kavyenge has been arrested for allegedly duping shop owners goods worth millions.
The suspect is allegedly to have been going around shops obtaining goods and pretending to pay via Mo626.
The shop owners would get transaction confirmation while their accounts have not received any money.
Apparently, the brilliant IT guy generated the transaction confirmation himself.
The malpractice have been going on for sometime and yesterday shop owners stormed the house of the suspects.
They apprehended him and started assaulting him mercilessly and was later handed to police.
Last year, the suspect was arrested at Kamba after being found with fake foreign currency.
He was fined and released from cell.
