
Fisherman’s Rest Donates Housing Facility To Blantyre Police

Blantyre Police has today received a housing facility from Fisherman’s Rest, which will be accommodating Gender Based Violence victims.
Blantyre Police Officer-in-Charge, Lovemore Mabumba has confirmed the development.
Mabumba said sometimes the victims cannot return home the same day or night and in most circumstances, the police have nowhere to house them.
The structure, which has been constructed at Milare Police Substation, is a one room self-contained building, with three beds where victims will be staying temporarily as their cases are discussed.
