Police in Zambia are keeping in custody a 42 year old man for allegedly raping and murdering his 46 year old biological sister.
According to Copperbelt Police Commissioner Elias Chushi said Jackson Chipoya committed the unspeakable crime on Saturday at around 21:00 hours.
The incident took place at Chantete Mukuba farms and identified the deceased as Philis Chipoya.
Chushi, reported that a 21 year old man Kennedy Chalwe was the one who found Jackson raping his biological sister.
He then went to the deceased husband tell him what he saw, upon coming back they found Philis’s lifeless body laying there nd the brother had fled the scene.
Chushi said while the family members where still at the scene Chipoya surrendered himself and said he was the one who killed the sister.
Meanwhile, the suspect is in police custody waiting to appear before the court to answer charges that are levelled against him as the body of the deceased has been taken to Kitwe Teaching Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem.
