In Nsanje District, police Officer In charge Senior Superintendent, Seleman Mtambo has been transferred to Nayuchi in Machinga.
Nsanje Police Publicist, Sub-Inspector, Agnes Zalakoma has confirmed of the transfer of Mtambo.
The police have not explained reasons for the transfer.
But, according to reports indicate that the development follows three incidents of suspects escaping from Nsanje police cell this year alone.
