Police in Mzuzu City, have arrested 23 suspects in connection to various offenses.
Mzuzu Police Public Relations Officer Sergeant Enala Kalua has confirmed the development.
According to Kalua, Intensive investigations led to the arrest of the 23 on Thursday, July 1.
The suspects netted are aged between 13 and 47.
The suspects are expected to answer various charges namely defilement, burglary and theft, being found in possession of Cannabis sativa, and unlawful wounding.
They will appear in court soon after the investigations.
Police remain grateful for the support from well-wishers for the tip-offs and collaboration.
