There is a large turnout in AstraZeneca vaccination centres in Lilongwe as government rolls out administration of 192 thousand vaccines to Malawians.
In some of the centres we visited, people endured waits of over two hours to receive their jabs.
In Dowa, the situation is the same.
At exactly, 7am more than a dozen people were seen at Dowa district hospital waiting to be vaccinated.
Senior Health Surveillance Assistant, Peter Dzinkambani told the press that he is impressed with the turn up urging people to come in large numbers as the astrazeneca vaccines have arrived in Dowa.
On Saturday, Malawi received 192 thousand doses of AstraZeneca through the COVAX facility.
