Ngumuya Mourns Chimkango

Well-known Gospel Musician Allan Ngumuya has described the death of Sweeney Chimkango as a big loss to the country’s music industry.

Chimkango died early today after succumbing to Coronavirus.

According to Ngumuya, the death of Chimkango is a big loss to the nation as he influenced a lot of musicians in the country through his talent.

In addition, Ngumuya said Chimkango will be remembered as a great musician who promoted gospel music in the country and an exceptional radio personality.

Until his death, Chimkango was a radio personality and producer for the state funded broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).
