Jamaican musician Gramps Morgan of the reggae group Morgan Heritage will star at this year’s Sand Music Festival, to be held in Mangochi District from October 1-3.
Organisers have confirmed about Gramp’s performance at the festival this year.
One of the members of the organising team, Laura Banda, said they have sealed the deal with Gramps.
This will be the first time for Gramps to perform at Sand Music Festival.
Gramps has been to Malawi twice with Morgan Heritage, courtesy of Born Afrikan.
Sand Music has announced other international acts such as Nigeria’s Mr P of the disbanded P Square and South Africa’s Makhadzi.
