Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has appointed Ben Matengeni Tohno as Acting District Commissioner for Nkhotakota District Council.
The appointment of Tohno follows the death of Nkhotakota DC Blessings Nkhoma last month.
“Ministry of Local Government has appointed Ben Matengeni Tohno as Acting District Commissioner for Nkhotakota District Council, effective 1st September 2021,” reads in part the statement.
Tohno’s appointment is with effect from September 1, 2021.
