Two Mozambicans arrested for trafficking six Malawians in Mangochi

Police in Mangochi have arrested two Mozambicans for trafficking six young Malawian men between the ages of 19 and 28 into Mozambique.

Mangochi Police Station Spokesperson, Sub Inspector Amina Tepani Daudi confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Daudi, the incident occurred on September 14, 2021 at Kalanje crossing border point in the district.

She has identified the suspects as Batisha Kasimu, 34, Malulukusha Village and White Alick, 31, Mtembo Village from Lichinga district in Mozambique.

The suspects will appear in court soon.
