From Presidential Advisor To A Farmer

As part of recovery process, well-known veteran musician Lucius Banda earlier this week was spotted working on his small garden situated at his residence in Balaka.

The development came barely days after President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera visited Banda together with his two brothers (Paul and Francis) who have been unwell for some time now.

Banda, a Presidential Adviser on Youth and Arts posted a photo of him on the garden on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

“Learning to be a small holder farmer. Using every little energy the Lord gives us,” wrote Banda attracting praises from his followers.

Some of his followers took advantage of the post to wish him well.

Mozy Manda wrote: “We thank GOD for your health soldier…. True legend PA Malawi pano… May the good Lord continue bless you & give you long life…”

Concurring with Manda’s remarks Mapythius Patrick wrote: “Am happy to see you again on your feet..Glory be to God almighty….. he has been so faithful.”

Meanwhile, Banda is yet to start reporting for duties at State House.
