Fresh Warrant Of Arrest For Mapeto Officials Issued

There are fresh warrant of arrests against top officials of Mapeto David Whitehead and Sons.

They are suspected of trying to smuggle another consignment of finished goods disguised as raw materials.

Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) Head of Corporate Affairs Steven Kapoloma has confirmed the development but asked for more time before sharing further details.

The company’s eight top officials are also answering similar charges in a case Chief Senior Resident Jean Kaira adjourned this week.
