Tanzania Deputy Speaker visits Malawi

The Deputy Speaker of the United Republic of Tanzania, Honourable Dr. Tulia Ackson MP, is in the country and paid a courtesy call on the Speaker, Right Honourable Catherine Gotani Hara.

The Tanzanian Deputy Speaker arrived in on Tuesday, 27th September, 2021 and is expected to conduct a number of meetings during her stay.

During the courtesy call, the Speaker and the Tanzania Deputy Speaker discussed a number of issues that will foster further collaboration between the two Parliaments.

Later, the Tanzania delegation held a meeting with the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Madalitso Kazombo, MP and the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Aisha Adams, MP.

Later in the afternoon, the delegation was expected to meet the Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Hon. Kondwani Nankhumwa.
