MDF soldiers rescue suspected thief from angry mob

Malawi Defence Force (MDF) soldiers from Moyale Barracks on Monday rescued a suspected thief from an angry mob which was about to set him ablaze in Mzuzu.

According to information at hand, the suspect invaded a certain house in the evergreen city with an ill motive.

The suspect successfully entered the said house and started parking clothes. As he was about to leave the thief was recognized by the owner of the house who shouted for help.

People around the house reacted positively and apprehended the suspect. The grouping started assaulting the suspect.

As the angry mob was about to set him a blaze MDF soldiers from Moyale Barracks arrived at the scene and rescued thief.

The soldiers handed the thief to police and he will soon appear in court.
