Woman’s Boyfriend Abducts Her Fiancé, Demands Money For Releasing Him

India – A woman’s boyfriend allegedly abducted her fiancé and demanded Rs 50,000 for his release, thinking that the move would compel the latter to cancel his wedding. However, things did not go as per the accused man’s plan and he landed in the police net.

Hemen Parsaniya, who hails from Jamnagar’s Jam Jodhpur, works at a ceramic factory in Morbi. A few months ago, he got engaged to Tulsi, who reportedly was in a relationship with one Sahil Sandhi. On Thursday afternoon, Sandhi and his aide Javed abducted Parsaniya at knifepoint. Later, the two called up Parsaniya’s family and demanded a sum of Rs 50,000 for releasing him.

Parsaniya’s family then approached the cops to rescue him. The police immediately sprang up in action. They tracked the accused down with the help of the location of their mobile phone. Parsaniya was rescued while the accused were arrested, according to a report by The Times of India.

The report further stated that Sandhi was annoyed over Tulsi’s engagement to Parsaniya. He abducted Parsaniya as he thought that this would make him call off the wedding. Sandhi and his aide have been booked for abduction, trespassing and extortion.
