Shadreck Namalomba receiving death threats

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament Shadreck Namalomba who is also Public Accounts Committee of Parliament (PAC) Chairperson says he is receiving death threats from some Tonse Alliance top officials.

According to Namalomba, the threats are related to the Committee’s intention to probe further the controversial presidential jet sale during the People’s Party regime under Dr. Joyce Banda.

Namalomba who is also DPP’s spokesperson is currently under fire for threatening the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) over ongoing investigations on former President Peter Mutharika.

Some members are pushing for his impeachment and have since penned Speaker of the National Assembly Catherine Gotani Hara.

Effort to talk to Minister of Information Gospel Kazako proved futile.
