Mozambican National In Cooler For Attempting To Traffic Children

Police in Phalombe are keeping in custody a 36 year old Mozambican for attempting to traffic two Malawian boys to his country.

Phalombe Police Spokesperson Jimmy Kapanja confirmed of the development.

According to Kapanja, the Man Julio Mario was arrested yesterday near Mauzi border in the district.

A Mozambican aged 36 is in police custody in Phalombe on suspicion he attempted to traffic two boys aged 16 and 17 to his home country.

Meanwhile, two other boys aged 16 have been rescued from another suspected child trafficker in the area of T/A Nkhulambe also in Phalombe

The suspect escaped leaving a motorcycle behind.
