A 20 year old woman has been killed by a crocodile in Kasungu as she was drawing water from Bua River.
Kasungu Police Spokesperson Joseph Kachikho confirmed of the development.
According to Kachikho, the deceased, identified as Tiyamike Joseph was watering her vegetables when she met her fate.
“The husband failed to rescue his wife from the jaws of the crocodile as it pulled her to deeper waters,” says Kachikho adding, however, that the remains of her body were retrieved yesterday
Tiyanjane Joseph hailed from Mphanga Village, Traditional Authority Chambwe in Kasungu.
