5 People Arrested For Stealing In Chinese Warehouse in Limbe

Police in Limbe have arrested five people suspected to be involved in break-ins that have been happening in Limbe policing area.

Inspector Patrick Mussa PRO Limbe Police said the five have been identified as; Prince Maida, 22, Steve Kapenuka, 27, Goodson Mphuka, 25, Chisomo Kachingwe, 33, and Saidi Kachingwe, 43, were arrested during the night of November, 4, 2021.

They are connected to a series of robberies and break-ins including one whereby a warehouse belonging to a Chinese within Illovo campus was broken into and bales of second hand clothes were stolen.

When interviewed, they admitted to have broken into the said warehouse and stole the said bales.

Limbe Police detectives have managed to recover five bales of clothes suspected to have been stolen. The suspects have been charged with; robbery, burglary, theft and breaking into a building and committing a felony therein, and will appear in court soon.
