President Dr Lazurus Chakwera has called on Malawians to endure the pain as the country takes the road to recovery.
Chakwera made the remarks at Kamuzu Palace during a session with media personnel.
He has strongly appealed to Malawians to make sacrifices saying as he said in his inaugural speech during last year’s independence the road to recovery will be painful because he found Malawi in a critical condition.
He has once again taken a swipe at the previous administration, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) for mismanaging the economy and the country as a whole.
