The body of renowned writer and political commentator Emily Mkamanga has been laid to rest today,
Mkamanga who was also columnist for one of the country’s media houses died on Sunday morning at Wezi Medical Centre in Mzuzu at the age of 72.
The burial program started in Mzuzu with prayers at Zolozolo CCAP before the body was taken to her home village for her final rest.
The remains of Mkamanga has been laid to rest at her home village, Mulumuzana Moses Nyambose in Enthongeni, Traditional Authority (T/A) Mtwalo in Mzimba North.
