Mzuzu City Council (MCC) has sealed Mzuzu Diocese offices for unpaid K2.3 million city rates bill.
Councillors and other officials from the secretariat said they will only open the offices after getting the payment.
The council is carrying out an exercise of closing offices, shops and houses whose owners have not paid both city and ground rent.
Weeks ago, the council also sealed Mzuzu University Campus over unpaid city rates.
