Fire fighters from Chileka International Airport have arrived at Leopard Match Limited to beef up the fire fighting team from Blantyre City Council to put out the fire.
The fire has been raging for about two and half hours now.
Police have confirmed four people have been injured from the initial explosion and are currently admitted to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
On 28 October, 2019, there was another fire incident at the factory.
