‘Partying Ways With Pemphero Was Not An Easy Decision To Make’ – Keturah

Songstress Keturah also known as The Local Girl has confirmed that her business relationship with writer and activist Pemphero Mphande who was her manager has come to an end.

Yesterday in a statement made available to Face of Malawi, Mphande announced that he decided to stepped down as Keturah’s manager because he want to focus on his work at his company and also work he does for other different brands.

“Ladies and gentlemen on this day the 13th of December, 2021, I am officially announcing to you the end of my musical journey with Mr. Pemphero Mphande who happened to be my manager since the month of March till today,” wrote Keturah.

According to Keturah, the two reached a mutual agreement to end their long lasting music connection.

Keturah, appreciated the effort Mphande put in her music work in the short period of time the two worked together defining the whole moment as the “brightest of her carrier which according to her yielded a good fruit that will been appreciated.

“You picked me up from a time when my career was just in it’s infancy to this day when am now an exempli gratia of pure talent around the globe.”

“There is no word that can define what you have done for me and my career because you were exceptional and exemplary in your work. The only thing I can say and wish for you right now is God’s blessings in your journey as a manager in different spheres of art.” Said Keturah.

However, Keturah admitted that partying ways with Mphande was not the easiest decision to make but was quick to accept that nothing lasts forever whilst quoting Ecclesiastes 3 verse 1-3.

Under Mphande Keturah released two tunes, Khalidwe which she featured the legend himself Giddes Chalamanda and Mlele which she just released.

She then thanked her fans for being with her throughout the time she was under the management of Mphande and asked them to continue rendering their support as her music carrier is still in the dawn.

“Thank you for your support during the time I was working with Mr. Mphande and my appeal is that you keep supporting me as my musical journey hasn’t reached its apex yet,” she said.

On new management, Keturah has said that she will announce in due course on her social media platforms and asked those who wish to book her any event to contact her directly.  On o887410913.
