Rumphi United FC’s long-serving Technical Director Lloyd Gondwe has died after a short illness.
Media Officer for the team Sandfor Sambwita has confirmed the development.
Said Sambwita, ” Rumphi United FC is saddened with the untimely death of one of its pillars Lloyd Gondwe who has passed on after a short illness.”
However, he said that the team will be remembering him for his neat contribution that helped to put the Rumphi United FC on the map.
According to the Media Officer, the funeral arrangement program will be communicated later.
