Self-acclaimed man of God Austin Liabunya of the Believers Gospel Embassy International has threatened to sue and shutdown Mikozi Network for allegedly defaming him.
Over the week Liabunya wrote on his Facebook page that after he told the “nation” that he is praying for the rain, it started raining heavily in the country and added that Malawians should thank him for that.
Mikozi, wrote on their Facebook page while addressing Liabunya as “profit” said the so called man of God deserves to be thanked for praying and fasting for the rain.
In his reaction to Mikozi’s post, Liabunya said that defamation of character and he will take them to court.
According to the so called man of God, he has the power to shut down some media houses in the country next year for writing what he described as “nonsense” about him and defamation of character.
“You’ll be JOBLESS next year both employers and employees for touching the Lord’s Anointed,” warned Liabunya.
He then asked Mikozi to explain what he did to them to deserve the hatred.
“Your company will be shut down! Mikozi we will take you to court for defamation of character,” he said “touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
He then reminded Mikozi that no one trends at the expense of other people’s names while demanding for an apology.
Mikozi are yet to make an official apology to the self-styled man of God.
