Inmates Given 6 Days Conjugal Leave

Information reaching this publication indicates that prisoners in Zimbabwe have been given a 6 day leave, starting from today.

It is said that the leave is part of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ which will be celebrated this coming Saturday across the country.

“ZIMBABWE Prison and Correctional Services (ZPCS) has released inmates from Marondera and Conemara Open Prisons to go on home leave which starts today the 22nd to 28 December. The home leave program allows inmates an opportunity to be with their loved ones during the Christmas holidays,” reads part of the statement.

But inside sources indicates that the leave is manly for prisoners to enjoy their conjugal rights during festive season.
