Buluma to continue testifying in NOCMA fuel scandal case

Deputy chief executive officer for National Oil Company of Malawi (Nocma) Hellen Buluma is this morning expected to continue giving her testimony in a case in which former minister of energy Newtown Kambala, former presidential aide Chris Chaima Banda and Aford president Enoch Chihana are accused of attempting to have an influence in a fuel tendering process.

Buluma has been in the witness dock since Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the accused have arrived at the court so are their lawyers and Anti-Corruption Bureau director, Martha Chizuma, who is lead lawyer for the State.
