Malawians React To Appointment Of Richard Chimwendo As Sports Minister

The president Malawi, Dr Lazarus Chakwera has released his final 29 member cabinet with new faces coming in, others returning their positions while others have been released.

Former sports minister, Ulemu Msungama has been dropped and Richard Chimwendo Banda is his successor.

Sports followers in the country have applauded Chakwera for the decision while others are not pleased with it.

Happy Patrick Kamanga wrote; He failed to respect his duties now back again as a minister after misleading Malawi Police by telling them who to arrest and not to arrest. Malawi sazatheka, he will be doing the same thing to sports.
