Malawian Man Arrested For Denying His Kids Medical Care over Religious Beliefs

Police in Neno have arrested an apostolic believer for denying his children to seek medical attention over religious beliefs which led to the death of his two children.

Neno district police public relations officer Sub-Inspector Austin Kamwendo confirmed of the development and identified the suspect as Ben Jerentala.

The deceased have been identified as six year old’s, Kolinto Jerentala and Rachael Mswati.

At the moment four children are being treated as out-patients in Neno district for Malaria.

The children are aged between 7 to 12 years.
